Fine Art - Small Works

These are usually 8x10" or smaller, done as practice or as a warmup for a larger piece. These small studies are usually quick to complete, and are a good exercise for days when I don't have much time. Medium might be soft paste, gouache, or pen and ink.

I work in the style of Modern Impressionism. Modern impressionists seek to capture the fleeting effects of light through loose and expressive brushwork. ​I enjoy showing details that you might not notice otherwise.
