Featuring commissioned house portraits and selected pieces from the "Building Up the North" community art project. Building Up the North is a community art project that aims to draw attention to the man-made beauty of the North Country, through the eyes of the people who live there. Local photographers and residents chose photos to be transformed into mixed-media paintings.

I often take on fine art commissions such as portraits, landscapes, and gifts. Commissioned work can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Price will vary based on size, complexity, deadline, and framing options. Please let me know what you're looking for, and I'll get back to you with a few different options to satisfy your vision and budget! 

I am comfortable working in watercolor, pastel, ink, and mixed media. I typically choose my medium based on what I think will best represent the subject matter. 
-House portraits are typically done mixed-media; in ink, graphite, and acrylic/watercolor.
-Landscapes are typically pastel, although can also be watercolor.
-Portraits can be ink and watercolor, or pastel in some cases.
