I work in the style of Modern Impressionism. Modern impressionists seek to capture the fleeting effects of light through loose and expressive brushwork. I particularly enjoy landscapes, plein air work, and florals. I usually work in either soft pastels, watercolor, or watercolor and ink. I prefer to focus on beauty close-in, on the textures and tones found within something simple. I enjoy showing others details that they might not have noticed otherwise.
