This listing is for an original signed and matted gouache painting of a fire circle of stones in the woods, with stumps arranged around for a campfire. Titled "Fire Circle", it was painted en plein air (on location) in summer of 2023 near Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota. Painting measures approximately 4x6", and has been double matted in white to 8x10", ready to frame.

Framing tips for pastels: -Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper. -Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer. -If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
