An original 6x6" pastel painting of Rocky Mountain National Park. Rocky Mountain National Park in northern Colorado spans the Continental Divide and encompasses protected mountains, forests and alpine tundra. This hike to Nymph, Dream, and Emerald lakes gives you a spectacular view of Tyndall Glacier.

Painting measures 6x6" on mounted archival sanded paper, matted in white to 8x8". If painting will be shipped unframed, it will be protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
