An original signed pastel painting of Bridalveil Fall in Yosemite National Park, California. Plunging 620 feet (189 meters), Bridalveil Fall is often the first waterfall you'll see when entering Yosemite Valley. In springtime it thunders, as it was on this cool, misty May morning. Water was streaming down the pathway leading up to the falls.

Painting measures 12x16" on mounted archival sanded paper. If painting will be shipped unframed, it will be protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
