An original signed 9x12” pastel painting titled "Painted Wall", Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Black Canyon is an American national park located in western Colorado. The canyon's name owes itself to the fact that parts of the gorge only receive 33 minutes of sunlight a day. This painting shows the Painted Wall—the tallest sheer cliff in Colorado at 2,250 feet.

Painting measures 9x12" on mounted archival sanded paper. If painting will be shipped unframed, it will be protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
