"High Meadow" Adirondack Mountain Landscape Pastel Painting
An original 10x20" pastel, painted en plein air in the Adirondack mountains.
Framed option will be framed in a black handmade wooden frame, with spacers and premium non-glare glass, wired and ready to hang. Unframed painting will be shipped protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards.

Framing tips for pastels:
Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
