This listing is for an original 9x12" pastel, painted in the Adirondacks. This painting shows a little babbling brook resplendent in fall color. Painted during the Tupper Lake Plein Air Festival. May be framed in a black and gold made-in-usa frame behind premium non-glare glass.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
