Original reduction lino cut print of a group of poppies, titled "3 Sisters". Prints measure approximately 8x10", matted in white to 11x14", ready to frame. This is a limited series of 7 signed and numbered prints, with 3 artist proofs (slight registration differences). These can never be reprinted, as the process destroys the printing block.
This print is designed, hand carved and printed by me. Each layer was carved from the same linoleum block, carved in sequence for each layer, and each color printed on top of the last. A total of three layers were hand-pressed on high quality printmaking paper using soy-based inks. Because each print is hand made, there will be slight differences in texture and ink opacity. Colors may vary from monitor to monitor. Original artwork by Catherine LaPointe Vollmer.
