Painting measures 12x12" on mounted archival sanded paper. May be framed in a black and gold wood frame with premium non-glare glass. If painting will be shipped unframed, it will be protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
