An original signed pastel painting of sequoia trees in California. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks boast many of the world's largest trees by volume. The General Sherman Tree is the largest in the world at 52,508 cubic feet.

Painting measures 12x16" on mounted archival sanded paper. If painting will be shipped unframed, it will be protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards. Painting can be framed in black with spacers and glass, ready to hang.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
