This listing is for an original pastel painting from Sequoia National Park. Has been matted in white to 8x12", and will be shipped flat sandwiched between two protective boards.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
