An original signed pastel painting of a quiet section of marsh grasses along Lake Champlain. The tree bends over the water, creating shady ripples over the lily pads.

Painting measures 12x12" on mounted archival sanded paper. May be framed in an espresso brown frame with premium non-glare glass. If painting will be shipped unframed, it will be protected with a layer of glassine paper between two rigid boards.
Framing tips for pastels:
- Frame behind glass, not acrylic or polystyrene. The static from plastic-type glazing will pull the pastel dust away from the paper.
- Pastels must not touch the glass, or they will smear. Use a mat or framing spacer.
- If matting, put some foam core or a spacer between the painting and the mat. This will prevent pastel dust from falling in front of the mat, discoloring it.
